We got home today around noon. Everything went smoothly with the surgery. Dr. A told Zach and my mom that the left tube had a lot of scar tissue and I had a cyst on the tube weighing it down. So the tube itself was bad even before the ectopic pregnancy. Dr. A wants me to try and stay focused on the fact that my right tube is very healthy. He said he didn't see any reason that I won't sustain a healthy pregnancy.
He also said that the baby itself looked very healthy. That is just implanted in the wrong place. He also doesn't think my risk for an ectopic will go up since the right tube is fine.
We've been told we can try again in 6 weeks. I'm not really sure if I'll be ready for that but we will see. I believe God has bigger plans for us and we will be parents one day.
