Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday night I worked a 12 hour shift and got home at 8am. I was beyond exhausted when I got home. As I was about to unlock the door, I noticed a pink egg hanging from the door knob. I thought, what the heck, someone is playing a joke on us. So I took it off and opened it.

The first egg had a paper clue inside that said, "Good Morning, I hope your night was ok. I have a surprise for you, come wake me up to get the next clue."

So, Zach is laying down and I told him I found the first egg. So he gave me the 2nd egg, which was blue. It had a paper clue inside that said, "Find another egg where you have the most palm tree decorations."

This egg was in the guest room. I think this one took me the longest to find. This was a purple egg. It's clue said, "The next egg is where we got all of our wedding treasure."

So I found the next egg in our treasure chest card box. I found a green egg with a clue that said, "This is where you would go to get some of our hotel soap."

We are one of those crazy couples that keep soap from hotels. We only keep the soap that we like the smell of and we don't have a ton. This was a 2nd pink egg and the clue said, "You'll find the next egg where Harry Potter hangs out."

Now this is where it gets kind of funny. I have been wanting to go to the grand opening of Harry Potter world at Universal Studios in Florida. It was originally set to open the weekend of my birthday and memorial day. So I see the clue about Harry Potter and I say "Yay! We are going to Harry Potter land!!!!!!!!" Zach's like, "No, no we aren't going there. Sorry."

So the next egg was actually on the bookshelf where the Harry Potter books are. A 2nd blue egg had the following clue, " The next one is hidden by the gift you got Zach for Christmas."

It took me a minute to remember what I got him. The clue probably should have said, "The game system that annoys you the most." Zach plays Call of Duty on his PS3 and it's always really loud. I finally asked him to get headphones so I didn't have to listen to it all the time.

The egg was next to the PS3. The 2nd green egg had a clue that said, "Careful you don't cook this egg like your spaghetti-o's!"

This was the final egg and it was in the microwave. The final clue said, "Almost done! You've got buns in the oven, so why don't you check there!!"

I opened the oven to find an "Easter bucket". It had lots of cute things it it!

There were a bunch of big eggs that had gender neutral socks in them! It was so cute!

My bucket is pink and has pretty little flowers on it. It has all the essentials to help with morning sickness. Lemonheads, Orbit Gum, Sour Patch Kids, Sour Skittles, Sour Starburst chews. It also had a few Easter treats like Starburst and Jolly Rancher Jellybeans and Cadbury Creme Eggs. He also included Tums since I've been having heartburn! I love my bucket! He joked that he got a bucket for me to use if I got sick anymore.

Yesterday was a wonderful day. We had lunch with my family and had a good time with them. We had dinner at The Winning's and I enjoyed pasta salad and chicken and noodles. They were both delicious!
