We are truly hoping that this cycle is it and we will have our Christmas miracle.
A little back story on why we are so hopeful that it works this month. Zach and I started dating 6 years ago on Christmas Eve.
Our IUI was on our 6 year anniversary.
I absolutely love Carrie Underwood. I heard a Christmas song by hear, "Do you hear what I hear?" on the way to our appointment.
Positive things always happen after I listen to Carrie!
Our appointment went well. Zach's numbers looked really good. The IUI itself went well.
My cervix was a little stubborn, so they had to use a clamp and pull it down. That hurt and I had some bleeding afterwards which is normal when they use the clamp. It was pretty uncomfortable but it will be worth it in the end.
Dr. S seemed pretty positive as well. He said if no period in 2 weeks from today, to call and they will do a blood test. I'm not going to lie, I will probably test before then, since I am a POAS-aholic. Seriously, you should buy stock in those things.
We had an amazing Christmas, surrounded by our family. It was great to get to spend time with all of them.
