So most of you that follow along know that this cycle was a BFN! I was supposed to get a blood test last week to make sure but I was sick, so I never went. That's another story I'll address in a minute. I called the nurse this week and she said I didn't need to come in for a blood test as long as I got all negative urine tests, which they've all been negative. They don't want me to start the prometrium to induce my period and get another cycle started until my period is 10 days late. That sucks, big time! I can't start the medicine until this Friday. I am not really sure where this cycle is going to fall and we are going to Hawaii next month so hopefully it all works out.
Dr. Schieber wants us to move on to insemination this cycle. Zach doesn't really want to do that but we'll see what happens. Once we move into that stuff it gets a little bit more expensive, which I think is Zach's biggest worry.
So, last week I got diagnosed with H1N1 and pneumonia. Tuesday through Thursday were awful. I've never felt worse in my life and I've had pneumonia before. It has taken a full week to start to feel better and I still don't feel 100% better. Hopefully in another week I am feeling 100% better!
This weekend we are heading to Ft. Wayne to visit Andrew, Rebecca, and their new puppy Rosie! I can't wait!
So we are past one year of trying to get pregnant. Some days are better than others. Today was a rough day because so many people have been posting cute pictures of their children in Halloween costumes, at the pumpkin patch and general cuteness of those little ones. Some days I just want to cry and say it's not fair. Other days I accept the fact that it's just not the right time yet. All I do now is take it day by day. I hope for the best and try to keep those negative thoughts far away.
I will keep you updated about when AF shows her ugly head and what we decide on insemination for next cycle.
Happy Halloween to you all!
