First Clomid Cycle

was a bust! This post is just my vent.

I took 50 mg of clomid CD3-7. I used OPK's and temped and all signs looked promising! I went in for my day 21 progesterone level and nope, I didn't ovulate! WTF?!?!

My level was 0.9 and a level of 30 is indicative of ovulation. I didn't even respond.

I got some crappy side effects, like hot flashes here and there, sore boobs, and some pain that I thought could have been ovulation but alas it was not. That pain was probably ovarian enlargement or a new cyst forming.

I also found out today that my thyroid levels still aren't where they like to see them for someone trying to get pregnant! Sweeeeet! I get to increase my dose to 50mcg.

I do have an appointment with a new RE on July 23rd because my other RE is moving away.

I don't think I'm doing clomid next cycle with my OB because I sort of feel like "what's the point" since they can't monitor me as closely as the RE.

I'd apologize for this post being so negative but I needed a place I could just vent my feelings.

I'll update again in a few days once I've gotten past the disappointment of not ovulating with clomid and realize that making the appointment with my new RE is a step in the right direction!
